John Wesley Satterfield has been writing and performing his own brand of American music since he was 12 years old when his father bought him his first guitar. After his bands in high school, he performed for his fellow servicemen and women aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Reliance at sea. Following college at the University of South Carolina and a few records made with a touring bluegrass band, he moved to Nashville to continue his pursuit. John has spent the last four years between Nashville and Tijuana, Mexico, in support of a non profit organization he founded called Hope Song where he performs with his friends for cancer patients at an integrative treatment center called Chipsa Hospital. New music is being written, recorded and released currently. Stay tuned!!!...more
