Austyn King is a prolific Singer-Songwriter-Producer multi instrumentalist that hails from Las Vegas, NV. His smooth yet funky approach to R&B laden grooves captivates audiences young & old.
Born in Detroit, MI, Austyn was raised a pastor's child with a family full of singers & musicians. He learned at an early age that music was his passion & quickly pursued the endeavor taking up drums, violin, guitar, keyboards & most importantly his voice. From Detroit, MI, he was moved around with his family due to the nature of his family's religious lifestyle. When they relocated to Rochester, NY, "Austyn King" was born. It was there he began to learn how to craft songs thru writing & producing his own music performing in talent shows, touring w/notable music acts in various genres throughout the country.
Throughout his teen & young adult years, Austyn saw the musical landscape evolving & felt that it was best to be an independent artist. Those releases include "Strawberries & Whip Cream EP", "Redemption-EP" & his full length LP "Passion". He’s had major opportunities like opening for "Joe", "Brian McKnight" & being on stage with his idol "Janet Jackson".
Austyn found not only his voice, but resilience in being an advocate for the LGBTQIA community as well the non-religious community.
His recent releases of “ArtMusicLife, Vol. 1 and 2”, have garnered him major exposure with his song “Sensational”. And more is to come with Vol. 3 available July 2019....more
