While growing up along the coast lines of Maine, Kayla Joe began gigging and busking at the age of 12 with her voice and guitar to help out with the family, and to learn the trade of songwriting.
She spent the other bulk of her childhood performing in various chamber choirs, some of which annually toured American, Canadian, and Costa Rican churches performing spirituals, hymns, and religious music from many backgrounds. Her love for show casing vocal harmony as an instrument itself stems from her choral roots.
After finding her footing in a new community, NYC and Westchester county, she found like-minded people and began her career creating R&B, pop, and electronic-ambient rock vocals, harmonies and productions....more
