Career
The young 28-year-old artist is making his merry way in music in Côte d'Ivoire. His singles are popular and Mike Alabi is delighted to be congratulated by music lovers. His own musical style is RNB, mixed with Afrobeat and cut-shift.

Mike Alabi had the chance to cross paths with Jennifer Yéo in 2015. His meeting with Miss CI 2014 changes everything. He was then a presenter at Vox Africa. He does a program called ''La team'' which talks about the famous word ''macabre'', accidentally pronounced by Jennifer Yéo about Ivorians who dirty the environment. This word makes the buzz on the Net and makes many Ivorians react. After the show, the singer posts a video on the Net in which he sings and creates a dance called ''Le Macabré''.

According to Mike, it has over 6000 views. ''I was amazed for a video that was made for just fun. It was fantastic. And people started calling me to tell me that I had become a star on the Net. Jennifer Yéo is trying to meet me. She appreciates what I did for her through my video posted on the Net. She wants the song to be the music of her campaign against insalubrity. It really made me happy. I did the tour with her,'' he says. Before continuing “After the campaign, she told me that she knows that I want to make music. She has no money to give me. But she was going to do anything to find me a producer. That's how she introduced me to Serge Beynaud. The latter said to me: ''let me listen to songs that you have composed''. I made him listen to them and he liked them right away. He agreed to produce me.

Thanks to Serge Beynaud, he enters the studio. His first single ''Yébessa'' was released in February 2016, signed Star Factory Music. Then two months later, he published another single ''Waka Jayé'' featuring Serge Beynaud. Since May 1st, his 3rd single ''C'doux'' has been delighting music lovers.

Mike Alabi released a 10-track album called ''Mon envol'' in 2018. ''I come from afar.

For this son of Pasteur, coming to music was not to Dad's taste. Michaël Alabi alias Mike Alabi finished his engineering studies in marketing before making music. ''The first time I told him that I wanted to do music, my father slapped me. After, he understood that I had the love of the thing. But all he asked of me was to finish my studies before devoting myself to music,'' he says.

The young Ivorian of Nigerian origin is now a presenter on Trace FM and is pursuing his musical career at the same time.
