Juan Frias aka Brasa born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey. In 2012 he moved back to
Santo Domingo to pursue his career as an Urban Latin artist. He has worked on perfecting his writing skills for the past five (5) years. As an artist, he has released songs featuring some of the top Dominican Urban artists Poeta Callejero, Chimbala, El Mayor, Sensato and Bulova's Family. 2017 he was approached by his childhood friends Mambo Kingz (producers) to write for other artists (they saw his potential as a writer/melody creator and insisted he gives it a try) since that day he has co-written with Prince Royce, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Yandel, JLO, BECKY G, CNCO, Abraham Mateo, Sofia Reyes, Cosculluela, Arcangel working hand in hand with Mambo Kingz, DJ Luian, Light GM, JMX, Kairo La Sinfonia and Rubiera. 2018 Brasa was nominated for a Latin Grammy for best urban song of the year. Has also won multiple awards such as Billboard Latin Music Award, Latin American Music Award, Bmi Music Award, MTV Millenium award and has more than 11X Multi Platinum and Gold Records....more
