Montreal’s Rap scene celebrates Maky Lavender’s as it’s succesor . It all started from his love for all kinds of two step moves, then creating his own visual universe and producing beats for his sincere rap lyrics. Maky Lavender is rapping about love of his hometown and empowering young adulthood with a revivifying way. Maky got himself doing many diverse creative exercises that made him the emerging artist that differentiated himself from Rappers of his generation. Haitian-Canadian Montreal-native is an exquisite and generous independent artist; releasing singles such as ‘’Cheese’’ & ‘’Tik Tok’’ that have gained the immediate attention of his fans on streaming platforms. Maky released his first album in 2020 "...At Least My Mom Loves Me" with hit-song "Bloom" reaching over 100K streams independently. Due to the music industry stoppage during the Coronavirus lockdown Maky keeps feeding his fans with quality raps dancing in the empty apocalyptic-like streets in his music videos for “When Did Maky Get This Hot?” And “Rumblin”.
