VYBZ is the musical project of 26 year old Sunny Bassey Ohara. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, VYBZ even through struggle, had music injected into his life. His father was a music lover and his mother a chorister, this led VYBZ to joining the choir at age 8. In secondary school he began finding his love for different melodies and songwriting. His genre diversity is very impressive including past, present and future recordings of afropop, r&b, dancehall and alternative music. VYBZ has faced dire struggle from many angles growing up sometimes homeless in one of the toughest regions of Lagos.
