Born in Ghana, 11 August 1985, Amon attended New Hope School and later went on to graduate from Ghana National College. During high school years, he developed a love for dramatic arts. In 2003, Amon started professional music while in IPS and recorded his first song title Emotion which he later featured Ghanaian rapper Edem on the remix
Amon's mentor Chico Dawuni (Odo kasa fame) have been the source of his motivation in pursuing his musical ambitions: Chico and my peers at School really motivated me. They always said that I would be a star", he confirms.
