“Suit Up For Battle” Faced heavy resistance. The original version of the song came from the all homeless veteran military band formed out of Los Angeles, CA. The original sound given to the song by the band was a type of Jackson Five feel. Whenever the band worked on that song the demonic attacks would come heavily. Once the band started recording in the studio, the pressure was too much for the band to withstand. God’s Chosen Saint (Audrey L Simmons) moved back to her home and birth city Columbus, Georgia. Once there she continuously ran into producer Lance Starks at the weirdest times. She determined that it was God (YHWH) the Creator of All Things telling her that it was time for her to record His song. Finally, the song was put together by two of Columbus, Georgia’s hottest producers at the time. Lance Starks crafted the beat and music around the song. Kevin Lamar of Gr8Trakz was the song’s recording engineer.
