Wake The Dead is a Modern Hardcore band from Marseille (France) created in 2010.
Like many self-produced / DIY bands, the band since his beginning emphasized his will to progress through live music with the motto "Driving for hours, playing half an hour".
After 10 years, more than 340 shows over 30 different countries between Europe, Asia and Cuba, they had the chance to share the stage with many bands with an international reputation in Punk and Hardcore.
Musically, the band has developed an heartfelt and passionated modern hardcore universe with melodic keys, inspired by all their experiences, encounters and musical discoveries made during these past years.
> The first album of the band titled «The Things We Can't Forget» (12 tracks/cd), was released in February 2011 self-produced.
> The band continued with the release of a 6 title EP «Meaningless Expectations» (vinyl version), in March 2012, self-produced too.
> In 2014 the band recorded the song «Swordfighting» that was followed by a video clip, another time self produced.
> At the beginning of 2016 the band signed with the German label Demons Run Amok for the release of his new album "Under The Mask" (12 songs/CD & Vinyl) the 27th may 2016.
> In June 2019, the band released a new single and new videoclip for the song “Back for More”
> The new 8 titles album of the band “Still Burning” was released March 2 2020, accompanied by a new video clip for the song "All My Flames"....more
