Benjamin Taggart

My name is Benjamin Taggart, I was born in 1991, in Woolton Village, Liverpool, England.
I started street performing from the age of fifteen and started to travel around the world with my performance by the age of twenty.
I feel like the music is running through my veins and is a massive part of my journey.
Once the adventures started to build up, I had to start writing down the memories and story's from my travels and as the song books filled up I felt the need to start recording the lyrics I had put together from my story's.
I've learnt how to play many instruments and I have recorded some of my songs in many different studios around the world.
Everywhere I've been I have created my own connections with gigs, from playing at small back street Deutsche bars to festivals on the beach in New Zealand.
The music I have been creating fits into the dreamy, upbeat chilled out indie/folk genre, but it has developed its own style and unique sound.
I am currently about to release my pride and joy of all releases so far, and I have been spending a lot of time composing and recording in a small professional studio in Scarborough, North East England.
I am super excited to share all my latest songwriting and music production with the globe.
