Bori Shoyebo, more commonly known as Bori, is a Nigeria born singer, songwriter and producer based in Sweden.
Bori’s musical journey began when he joined his local church choir in Nigeria. A community of musical fruition that paved the way for the development of his artistic expression.
In 2015 Bori took his first major step towards a musical career by auditioning for Swedish Idol. With a memorable first audition, he established himself as a crowd favourite. Placing 7th in the competition as one of the finalists on the show.
Featuring on the track “JENNIE” with R.City, marked the embarkment of Bori’s international career. The track is so far awarded 2x gold.
Bori has an artistic versatility that is not bound by genres, however, quite often he tends to find inspiration and influence from genres such as, Afrobeats, Afropop and Pop.
