Ottawa-based hip-hop/R&B artist Archangel brings a soulful, melodic rap
sound to his debut EP “Different Waves” (2020).
Tied together by a graceful, elastic flow that peppers the beat with
shimmering punchlines and catchy hooks, Archangel’s half-sung/half-rapped

about financial literacy and the importance of generational wealth:
‘Ultimately I want to create opportunities for my city and the younger
generation. The idea of being able to perform on stage and relate to other
people by being authentically, unapologetically myself - that drives me.’
