Valentine Recording Studios was the playground. A true time capsule where a few bands from the late 60’s did their magic (Beach Boys, Boyce & Hart, Kenny Rogers…).
A perfect match for Ian who recorded all the instruments, shaping the essence of his compositions.
The talented JJ Golden (Charles Bradley, Sharon Jones, Ty Segall...) put his final mastering touch to the tracks… et voilà!
Some people say it sounds close to the Kinks, to others, Bob Dylan, but the connoisseurs will recognize influences from The Byrds or The Easybeats.
Painting themes from his personal love stories, through heartbreaks, rude awakenings and other dysfunctional relationships, Ian’s punkish and sometime provocative stories will ring into everyone’s ear....more
