Originating from the Bay Area, ultmt. is no stranger to the world of music... Having grown up completely submerged in every genre, ultmt. was discovered by Phife Dawg of the iconic group, A Tribe Called Quest, at the age of 16 and was signed on to Phife's production team, Riddim Kidz at the age of 19. Having done multiple worldwide tours as Phife's hype man and occasional DJ, ultmt. used his time on Riddim Kidz to sharpen his production chops not only in Hip-Hop, but any genre he came across. Working in all ranges from producing and DJ'ing for soulful electronic singer/songwriter, TZAR, to producing and playing bass for R&B sensation Glenn Travis, ultmt. brings an explosive and highly energetic performance to his live show that leaves the audience wanting more.
