King AD after the success of the 2010 release of His highlife hit single – ‘Nne Calabar' which rocked the south south region of Nigeria; the Akwa Ibom born artiste, Uncle AD later changed his name to King AD (taking out A&D from his name AlexanDer).
Alexander Ukpe Inyang a.k.a King AD dropped a hot tune ‘Nek Samba‘ in 2012 which gained air play across the south and east region of Nigeria! The versatile singer has 4 Album's to his name and is a native Uyo Village, Uyo L.G.A, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
In 2008, King AD performed at the MTN SOUNDCITY CAMPUS BLAST alongside P-Square, Nice and Derenle at the University of Calabar. In 2010, he performed at the ETISALAT CAMPUS STORM alongside Terry G, Flavor and Mr Raw, Professor Aboki Wazobia and Last Prophet still at the University of Calabar. In 2010, King AD stormed the CALABAR XMAS FESTIVAL (Gyration Nite) with an explosive performance alongside Tony1week, Stone Cold etc.
Since the beginning of his career King AD has rolled out series of singles that has rocked the airwaves steadily each time they’re released as an independent artiste.
In 2011, King AD performed at Calabar Festival on 3rd Canaan Rhythms II before going back to school to acquire a first degree and masters degree as well.
December 2019 King AD performed at the Ibom Christmas Village; Day 8 with a 5 star Performance.
King AD was the Emeritus VICE PRESIDENT of Akwa Cross Entertaining Musicians, Also former CHAIRMAN Akwa Ibom State Artiste Forum using these platforms to coach uprising stars. The title of his 4 released Albums in no order are: "AKWA IBOM TO THE WORLD" 2021, "SON OF THE SOIL" 2010, "KING OF SOUNDS" 2023 and "LUCKY DAY" 2014.
King AD was given an award of "SOUTH SOUTH BEST HIGH LIFE ARTISTE at ENYIMBA FESTIVAL 2023 & signed a recording and video deal with Rhodium Music Inc this year 2024.
