Reggae singer/songwriter was born Donald Anderson in Montego Bay, Jamaica. His first contact with music was through Church first singing in the choir but years later he decided to continue singing secular music influenced by artists like Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest, Brian & Tony Gold...
Formerly known as Iceman, Slashe was once a member of the Robert Livingston lead Big Yard Music Group where he recorded a number of songs which still enjoy radio rotation in Jamaica and other countries to date. Some of which include Dancehall Vibes, Girls Invasion and This Way To My Room.
In 2010, when his journey with Big Yard came to an end he continued working with producers such as Christopher Rich, Steve Locke, Kurt Riley, Dj Nice and Richard 'Shams' Brown.
In 2014, as a result of meeting legendary producer Donovan Germain (Penthouse Records) his career took a new dimension. Slashe started showing his real Reggae side and confirming his hopes about to allocate all his efforts in the music business.
Consider Me, Friday, Jam Jam Party, Your Love Is Life and Lost Love are some of his Penthouse releases which have gone over well in territories such as US, UK, Germany, Holland or Spain.
He also recorded for Ultra Beam Records and Phuzzion Music Ent.
After a very successful 2019 five weeks summer tour in Spain, Slashe continues full focused on his music working to consolidate and to increase his fan base all over....more
