In 2018 Chelsea, Massachusetts, Bill Grease is the affable MC of the hip hop group Los Pollo Compañeros. His closest companion is the laconic dead-shot beat maker “Sweeps”. The two return to their hideout at the firebombed Pollo Campero on Park Street to discover that the rest of the group, irked at Bill Grease’s long absences, have selected Lil Sam Adams as their new leader.
Lil Sam Adams, wearing a powdered wig and stockings, challenges Bill Grease to a rap battle over the leadership of the group. Bill Grease immediately defeats him by watching him overdose, and calling an ambulance. Realizing Los Pollos Compañeros was never a hip-hop group, but simply homeless people living in a firebombed Pollo Campero, Sweeps and Bill Grease decide to quit and form their own group, “Dunes”.


The 1st EP (DUNES) goes well. To celebrate, Bill Grease visits his favorite brothel in Haverhill, MA, and watches, amused, as the New England hip hop scene continues to spit limp-wristed triplet flows over beats that would have been hot in Atlanta circa 2013.


On the second EP (Verbal Cabbage), Sweeps cooks beats with far too much dynamite in an attempt to quell the ever-growing wackness systemic to the greater Boston area. The explosion eviscerates competition, causing many Boston college students to give up rapping.
Having jettisoned the dreams of Boston’s well-funded children, Sweeps and Bill Grease released IMPALA in 2020. They are rumored to be hiding in Bolivia, known as Los Bandidos Yanquis.
