In 2019, Lamu's career soared when Empawa Africa selected her to represent Uganda among 100 rising artists across the continent. Since then, she has released a remarkable 7-track EP titled 'No Pressure' in 2020 and various features and as of August 22 2024 her latest EP release, 'Infinity .'
Beyond music, Lamu is a distinguished International Relations & Diplomatic Studies student, a Media Personality, and a part-time Youth and Community Projects Coordinator. She was crowned Miss Earth Uganda 2021-2022 by Her Royal Highness, the Queen Mother of Tooro Kingdom.
