Adair Murray is UK writer, songwriter and independent artist.
Originally from a small village in Scotland, Adair headed to London at the age of 16 to begin a career in the arts, starting out first of all as a theatre performer. Performing in shows such as Godspell, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fame & Guys and Dolls.
It was at a failed boy band audition at the famous Pineapple Dance Studios, that Adair caught the eye of London producer Roger Benou. Roger saw something in Adair and when he found out that he also wrote his own songs, he invited him to come and record at his studio in Islington, North London. This is where Adair fell in love with creating music and began honing his craft of songwriting, producing and collaborating with other writers and producers.
In 2011, Adair created the pop character Jack of Clubs and released a concept EP as his glitter covered alter ego which was co-produced by Hank Hughes and Barry Frame. The EP features Scottish rapper Whisky Princess and also Annie Angel on ‘Summer Nites’ which was shortlisted in 2012 for the West Hollywood Song Contest.
Since then Adair has co-written and produced over 30 songs, most recently collaborating with Stefan Wyatt and continues to work on new material when he can, alongside his career as a novelist and TV screenwriter....more
