NOVACUB, the indie pop foursome have just released their debut EP 'FUTURE ECHOES' via LAB Records. In 2019 the band toured with various different artists including; The Xcerts, Kaiser Chiefs, The LaFontaines, Feeder and played summer festivals. Louise (singer) had previously been drumming for pop stars like Selena Gomez and Eliza Doolittle when she landed the gig playing drums for Bloc Party. It was around that time that she began writing her own songs. Bloc Party guitarist Russell took immediate notice of Louise’s writing skills. “The moment I met Louise, I knew we had a unique musical chemistry,” Russell says. “We often joke that we must be twins because we are so in sync.” Bassist Iona, originally from Wales and a touring harpist with artists like Neneh Cherry and Laura Mvula, joined NOVACUB when Louise asked her to learn the bass and Venezuelan drummer Tony through open mics nights they attended together. The band will be releasing lots of music throughout 2020 and playing shows all over. See you there!...more
