The Poets

‘The Poets’ are a bath based band who have developed their own style of indie rock. They are a young group, all still teens, but simply have a way of enticing new followers and sure know how to hold their own on a stage.

The group of friends began performing cover songs at school from bands such as the Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters. As the members began to become closer and create a synchronisation between one another, they set about fabricating some original songs, updating and developing them as time went on and as they became more proficient in their role in the band. The Poets put on some of their own gigs in Bath but soon became receiving invitations to play at venues both in their home city and further afield.

The fun nature combined with the great sounds being produced made their gigs an admiration to attend so quickly became gaining followers.

Finally, after over a year of live performances, a growing fan base and an enormous sense of both concordance and love for one another, The Poets began to record and produce their originals so that their fan base could listen to the music away from the gigs.

The future looks very bright for The Poets, with an already large, steady fan base as well as many songs in line to be produced and much time on their hands to grasp all opportunities that will inevitably come their way.
