Majestica is the creation of multi-instrumentalist and mastering engineer Cass Anawaty and New Age flutist Sherry Finzer.
The duo share the same influences from many musicians from the 70's and 80's, and current artists like Bonobo and Thievery Corporation, bringing those to their newest release Auriga to Orion - blend of Ambient, Electronic, Chill Groove music.
Known most recently for her award-winning New Age and Ambient music utilizing instruments from the low flute family (alto. bass & contrabass), Sherry Finzer plays a variety of feisty flutes over the grooves created by the multi-instrumentalist talents of Cass Anawaty (guitar, bass, keys, synths, & drum tracking).
Their first release, In the Midst of Stars received a nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album from the Round Glass Music Awards and continues to receive airplay from satellite, terrestrial and internet stations around the world.
Both In the Midst of Stars and Auriga to Orion are released on the Heart Dance Records label. Bringing something fresh and new to the mix.
