Presenting a musical kaleidoscope of almost every genre in music, from Rock to Hip Hop, Urban to Alternative Pop, SEXTON threads her sound with a magical realism of every human emotion from the raw to the subtle, as she narrates situations in life with an authenticity with which everyone can identify. Her message is about a love of self and transparency, of being the real ‘you’ and self-worth.
Born in Perth, Australia, SEXTON was inspired by Pop-Rock and Hip Hop. She survived a nationally televised car accident, as her car was hit by a stolen police car and flipped over three cars. It was life changing. SEXTON decided to move to LA and pursue her dreams of having an international music career.
2017 was Sexton’s breakout year when she peaked at #8 on US Urban radio and Top 40 on Rhythmic Radio with her hit feature on TK Kravitz’s song “Space” achieving over 46 million streams and selling over 250k units.
Since then, SEXTON has opened shows for Lil Wayne, Migos, Cardi B, Uzi Vert, Bryson Tiller and many more, worked with super producers Timbaland and Scott Storch as well as many other industry favorites, had Chris Brown find and shout out her music on IG and collaborated with major international artists such as Smoke Purpp and others that are unannounced. SEXTON is the new sound wave for female artists, changing the profile of music.
