Tanisha is a complete package alternative R&B artist, masterful in bringing together cleverly-written lyrics with rich harmonies. As a new generation takes the reins Tanisha’s sound redefines the purpose behind music and song concepts. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada her unique atmospheric sound is a result of various musical influences. Starting her journey at the age of twelve in the Toronto Children’s Concert choir (TC3), Tanisha found an intense hunger for singing. After spending five years in the choir serving as the alto section leader, Tanisha went on to perform as an independent artist on a number of live stages.
The songwriter in Tanisha has lead her to collaborate in songwriting, vocal production/arrangement with writers, producers, engineers and other artists alike. This young Canadian Singer/Songwriter also Founded an Entertainment Company NWYE (Not What You Expected) and Recording studio in Toronto.
The label sets out to be a leader in supporting the development and sustainability of creatives to result in success.
NWYE provides artist development, creative facilities, creative direction, high-quality production, and business and talent management.
