Ashiskumar Singh Rampul (born 27th January 1996), known professionally as Ashis Ramphul, is a Mauritian singer-songwriter, record producer and actor. He gained a following in 2017, after releasing his debut single “Na Jaana” which broadcasted on national television and nominated for “song of the year” on local radio stations.
Ashis Ramphul started his music career at a very young age performing in private shows with his father. Years later, he became a YouTuber, posting song covers. After progressing his skills, he decided to create original music and videos with the help and support of his family and friends. He has released several singles as a solo artist and his debut EP, Teri Yaad, was released in January 2021. He sings predominantly in Hindi, but has also performed in Bhojpuri and Mauritian Creole.
