Manté is an independent American hip hop artist. His Debut EP entitled Free was released in 2019, followed by self-entitled EP Manté, Released June 2020. He was born June 4th, 1996 in Fayetteville, NC, and moved to Charlotte, NC at the age of 7. Manté grew up listening to a mixture of old school R&B, Blues and gospel being that his parents were involved heavily in the church. His inspiration includes the likes of Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Outkast, Nas, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar among others. Manté grew up with his mother, a social worker, and his step father, an entrepreneur and bishop. His delivery reflects his childhood nickname ‘smoove’, while his flow embodies the characteristics of a true Gemini, ever changing and unpredictable....more
