Before his music career took off in Indiana, hip hop artist Scoot Da Kidd was a prominent member of the church community in Fort Wayne. Kidd embraced his talent for drums at ten years old, and entered his first music studio at the age of twelve. He recorded his first song, "Prescription Drugs" when he was fourteen. Eventually, Kidd traveled to Akron, Ohio, to further expand his music career.
