On the second album “Devices” (Northern Light Records), similar sounds from bands like Love and Rockets and Interpol can be found, while still maintaining a unique brand of reverb-drenched haze. The songs speak of the distress of being a social misfit and the tumultuous oscillation of love and longing.
Since forming in 2015, Black Ferns has been consistently touring and sharing the stage with great bands such as INVSN, Wolf Alice, Bass Drum of Death, The KVB, Numb.er, Second Still, The Foreign Resort, Dead Leaf Echo, Palm Haze, Moving Units, Heaven, and Panda Riot.
