    Year of Dogs is an indie-funk-pop band from Cape Town, South Africa. The band was initially a duo formed by long-time friends, Nic van Graan (vocals) and Themba Bosch (guitar). The pair started experimenting with music in 2017 and in early 2018 ventured off to Vietnam where they were taken in and nurtured by the local musos in Ho Chi Minh City.
