Zewelanji Sanga alias Lanji is an uprising versatile Singer, Rapper, Songwriter and Actress from Lusaka, Zambia born on December 18th.
Her musical journey started in October, 2013 when she firstly visited a recording studio and she has been recording music since then.
She was Raised by Reggae because of her dad Mr Japhet Sanga who listened to a lot of reggae music, though she doesn’t let that
limit her sound, she is a Multi-Genre Artist.
She gets inspiration from people’s experiences, Songs and Artists like Chronixx, Beyoncé, Bob Marley, T-Sean, Naomi Wachira and Oliver Mtukudzi to mention just a few.
She dropped her first ever professional single under YM Media her Label on September 8th 2019 called “Set D’ Tone” It was positively received peaking at Number 8 on the Joy FM top 20
She has worked with artists like Dizmo on the smash hit Greatest, Slapdee on his Mother Tongue album, KB on his Last Dance album with My Diary 9 being one of the songs she worked on and T Bwoy on his Wisi Tamika album.
She has written for Artists like T Bwoy, Dizmo, KB and many more.
She featured on a Short film Tazara by Mumba Yachi where she was the lead actress. The Movie went on to win numerous film awards in Europe.
