DEZ is a Kenyan singer, songwriter and rapper born and based in Nairobi, Kenya. He describes his music as genre bending incorporated with urban storytelling. Dez is a fast rising rapper that has churned out several hits including his collaborations with Asum Garvey, Boutross, Thayu Mwass and Silverstone barz.

CAREER
DEZ released his debut single in 2018 titled Unafaa followed by a string of back to back singles. It wasn’t until 2019 when he released his breakout hit single titled ‘Sitaki Mapressure’ that he gained mainstream recognition.

In 2021 DEZ released his debut album titled WAV PICK which was a moderate success spawning the hits Nairobi Nights featuring Siversone barz and Sitaki featuring Asum Gravey. The album has been played 96,000 times on Boomplay.
