Ria Boss
Living with her grandmother for the majority of her formative years, she witnessed her mother’s growth and determination to success on the side lines. From a lawyer, owning her own firm, to the Commissioner of Human Rights and Administrative Justice to Ghana's Ambassador to Paris, her mother has always been her idol. And motivated by this strong will of her mother and the everlasting love and support of her grandmother, Ria Boss is the foundation of her humble beginnings.
Piano lessons, choir, ballet, tap, and more—she was opened to a world of endless possibilities through the world of art as a young child. Molded by the situations she was placed in, (and sometimes placed herself in), the music remained the constant therapy and source of expression. The two most important women in her life surrounded her with the sounds that would soon be the makings of the musician.
Upon moving back to Accra, Ria Boss released her very first debut EP, "Find Your Free", a compilation of healing songs she wrote to help get her through her rough battle with depression, with her identity, with her quest for self love.
In 2018 she embarked on the #THANKGODITSRIA series which saw her drop an EP every week for 11 weeks....more
