Born in Kazakhstan, Bota showed great promise as a classical pianist. However, her passion to compose original music took over and drove Bota to move to London at the age of 16 to develop as a singer and songwriter.
Her soft and enigmatic vocals has been compared to superstar contemporaries such as KYLIE & BRITNEY.
She has since graduated in Popular Music Performance from British Modern Music Institute (BIMM) and completed her Masters in Music Business at London College of Music. Throughout these years Bota has performed her original music at renowned London music venues including Proud Camden, Borderline, The Water Rats, Underbelly, The Workshop and was a finalist of the Open Mic competition in 2017.
In 2015 Bota has completed ‘London Artist Development’ program run by Powerstudio and started to work on her original songs. She has released her first single in 2016, featuring popular Russian boys band 'The Jigits'. They collaborated on her original song 'You plus Me', which got likes from Russian media. In 2017 Bota has released her debut solo single ‘Special’ together with the music video that premiered on her Official VEVO channel.
Bota's new single 'once in a lifetime' is going to be released on November 15th. Produced by Tylr Rydr, this song cultivates Bota’s artistry and takes her music to the next level....more
