Beginning to write music at the early age of eight, his style has grown with him. With eleven older siblings and one younger, Cataldo was exposed to a gamut of musical stylings early on. From classic rock, country, and blues to hip-hop and rap, Cataldo has tested his pen and voice against many of them. As a teen, Cataldo began to rap with a couple of his brothers, which garnered attention first locally, and then nationally. But he began to look for a different lifestyle as he grew into himself. And somewhere between experiencing life on the road as a hip-hop artist and exploring the studios of Nashville, Cataldo found his own lane.
You can often find Cataldo in the middle of a party, working out verses and chord structures or writing down an idea for later. Songwriting has always been one of his strengths, and storytelling comes naturally to him. He can take a moment in time and ruminate on a backstory, sometime fictional and oftentimes experienced.
