Summerella is the alias of Summer Boissiere, a comedian and R&B vocalist and songwriter. Her career was launched during the mid-2010s through clips she uploaded to Vine and Instagram. The Atlanta, Georgia native's humorous and musical videos attracted million-plus followings on the social media services. In 2015, she started issuing full-blown recordings, including the tracks "11 Something," "Hide & Seek," and "Ice Cream," all of which were lazing ballads. Another pair of slow cuts, "Come and See Me" and the comparatively emotive "Pull Up," followed in 2016.
