Dan is the stage name of Daniel Goerlitz , a german-born hip-hop recording artist and songwriter. He has a half-rapped/half-sung vocal style. His tracks are characterised by the use of his everyday situations, put into a dark atmosphere in which recognition, women, money and drugs play an important role.

By creating situations and often real life stories, he wants the listener to become part of the song as a kind of added component. With his diversity he is also able to create moody tracks. Music is entertainment: to be able to empathize with the music, as well as to interact with the music is important to him. Dan was mainly influenced by artists such as Drake, Kanye West, Travis Scott and Young Jeezy.

His first music steps started at the age of 14. He was songwriting in german and english language. When he turned 18 he finally recorded his first Mixtape (The Voice of the Streets). After that he met Salih Akinci (Turnrock), a Producer and DJ. Since then the two worked together and created their own sound. The biggest achievement in music was the single „Sleep On You“ which features Tory Lanez on the Hook
