Carolina East is a self-taught musician from South River NL, the community where Carolina would found her voracious love for singing and songwriting in her teen years.
Carolina’s voice conveys natural warmth and honesty as well as amazing vocal power. Having been invited to write and record her debut album with multi-platinum producer Rob Wells and award-winning songwriter Shobha Lee, Carolina will soon be releasing her 4th album with this dynamic team. Since the release of her first EP, Carolina East has quickly made quite a name for herself with multiple award nominations from East Coast Music Awards, Indigenous Music Awards and MusicNL Awards where she won Country Artist of the Year in 2018. She has also been featured on Sirius XM Country Radio as #1 on the Indigenous Music Countdown and Exclaim! magazine.
