I began writing music as Whenuknow in 2018, but my love for music has been life-long. I started playing and learning any musical instrument I could get my hands on around the age of 10. Playing in marching band, making a band with my friends, anything I could do to make noise I was doing it. One day I found a used game made by a synthesizer company called Korg for my nintendo, and thus began my obsession with electronic music. Through the years I cycled through different producer aliases but none of them stuck. I was trying to come up with a name one day and thought, “...well when you know, you know”, and that seemed to stick for some reason.
Whenuknow is an attempt to show a range of emotions through House music. House music has always had a hypnotic quality to me that has brought me back to the genre over and over again. Feeling a kick drum coursing through your whole body and making you want to just bounce is what inspires me most and what I hope to convey through my music
