I'm a musician, surfer, vegan, and yoga enthusiast. El Porto is the name of my hometown. I think of music as a soundtrack -- not a soundtrack for a film, but a soundtrack for every aspect of our lives. Whether practicing yoga, meditating, hiking, running, biking, working, or enjoying the comfort of home, these songs were written to serve as a soundtrack -- occupying the forefront or background of your mind, as you choose.
There are some dance songs, some post-rock songs, but what I'm mostly interested in now is reimagining yoga music, on and off the mat, with new sounds, tones, and tempos, while still remaining focused on the positive energy of the practice. With the release of my fifth album on February 26, I launched a playlist of original songs that I created specifically for yoga. The playlist is called "Reimagining Yoga Music" and I will be updating it with new songs every two weeks (including material from my upcoming releases on March 26, and April 9).
