Fade Awaays are a Toronto-based Garage Rock band formed in 2013. The group is comprised of Reid MacMaster (guitar), Duncan Briggs (bass), Sean Hackl (guitar), and Owen Wolff (drums). The group has a democratic approach to making music: each member contributes to lead vocals and songwriting.
After getting started in the Toronto club scene, Fade Awaays have been relentlessly gigging throughout the city and beyond, setting out on multiple tours across Canada. The band has appeared at Canadian music festivals such as CMW, NXNE, Trapdoor Fest, Indie Week and were named one of Exclaim! Magazine/Dan Burke's Class of 2018 graduates. They have played alongside international acts such as Wolf Alice, Public Access TV, Hot Flash Heat Wave, The Gooch Palms, and The Sherlocks & The Beaches.
