A full representation of every element in his hometown, ROB TAYLOR was born Robert Taylor-Johnson in Milwaukee, WI on January 16th. His love for music came at the age of 9, writing and recording songs with his cousins at his uncle’s home studio, though none of it was released. He continued to make music with his cousin ASTRO SLIK and his friends, and at the age of 16 he started performing with his childhood friends at local venues, eventually partnering with UW-Milwaukee, Marquette and Planned Parenthood at the age of 19 with SLIK. ROB released his first official single, “WILDFIRE” in August 2017 after a long hiatus from music, with “STFU” coming a month later. His debut EP, “ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER” was released on February 12th, 2018, with the Deluxe coming later in the year. ROB TAYLOR is currently finishing his debut album, ROB TAYLOR I, set to be released in mid-2020. Lead single “I’M UP” is scheduled to be released in April 2020....more
