Julian Pérez was born in Colombia and from a very young age, he was involved in music and singing. He always was surrounded by being part of choirs and the worship team.
In 2002 Julian moved to the United States where a new season in his life personally and professionally changed. He has been involved in the Christian Music Industry since 2006 when he ventured as a graphic designer for several music ministries which gave him the opportunity to also work with them musically. His musical performance was seen making background vocals in Christian events and television programs for Julissa, Lilly Goodman, Amalfi Blanco, Christine D’Clario, Benjamin Rivera among others. In 2011 he was awarded a Premio Arpa (Arpa Award) as a graphic designer in the “Best Cover Design” category. In 2012, he is part of the live recording of the Ministry Adoración Gobernante / Governing Worship with the song “Escóndeme En Tu Luz” and in 2013, the group was awarded a Premio Arpa as “Best Group of the Year”. In that same year, he made his solo debut with the single "Creado Para Amarte" as well as his debut in the CCM with the English version "Destined To Love You"
In 2018 he started conversations with the renowned producer Mike Rivera to record “Mientras Tanto”, an adaptation in Spanish of the version "While I Wait" song made by Lincoln Brewster.
Julian is currently a member of the Prestonwood Baptist Church with his wife where he is part of the worship team as a worship leader....more
