Folk Rock band from Western Australia. Jack Davies is a 20 year old songwriter renowned for his story telling, witty lyricism and powerful live performances. In 2019, after a huge year of playing shows across the country and releasing their WAM nominated Debut EP, they took home the WAM award for "Best Folk Act", and an NLMA award for WA’s “Best Live Act”. After having released the first single "Half Frozen Beer" off their new EP to a sold out crowd in their hometown of Fremantle, they will be touring throughout Australia in 2020. The Bush Chooks consist of Elise Hiatt (violin), George Gare (elec. guitar), Hector Morlet (keys), Jack Annear (bass) and Chet Morgan (drums). Crowd photo by Annie Harvey.
