Matthew Young (born November 12, 1991) more affectionally known by his stage name Capo Cheeze, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter/top-liner with a unique and incredible story. Once a former rock guitarist, he was first involved in the metal/hardcore scene when he later transitioned his focus and passion to rapping, which led him to discover and embrace a whole new approach to music! Cheeze began his hip hop career following the release of his debut single “She The Truth” and then solidified a concrete fan base from his songs with young music mogul Speaker Knockerz such as “Boring” “Smoke It” “Life” and more. It doesn’t matter what style he adopts: He always stands out and finds a way to push the boundaries further each time he creates. He is a firm believer that music is first and foremost a matter of personal expression, and is excited to share something special with his listeners. His take on hip-hop is spontaneous and textural, often favoring unique delivery styles, and crooning eerie melodies favoring the sounds of Post Malone, Swae Lee, and Travis Scott.
