The Chad LB Virtual Big Band is a big band formed in 2020 led by saxophonist Chad LB (Chad Lefkowitz-Brown). The band is the first 18 piece jazz big band to record and release a full album with each member recording separately in isolation. The band’s first album, Quarantine Standards, features a mix of jazz and American songbook standards arranged by Steven Feifke.
The band’s leader, Chad LB (Chad Lefkowitz-Brown) has been hailed as a “Sax Phenom” by the New York Daily News. He has toured globally as a bandleader, and with superstars ranging from Chris Botti to Taylor Swift. Chad has been a featured soloist with premiere ensembles like the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, and he was formerly a prominent member of the multi GRAMMY winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. At only 30-years-old, Chad has now become one of the first jazz headliners of his generation, amassing a loyal social media fanbase of 150,000 followers across platforms.
