Shawn Everette resides in Baltimore, Maryland, but his edgy, in your face lyrics still carry the aroma of Long Island New York where he grew up. He combines urban Christian music with a quiet storm brand of R&B produced to capture the mind, soul, and spirit of people with vast musical taste. From the stage of the VIBE MUSIC FEST in 2005 to sharing the stage with Joann Rosario on the 'Jesus On The Water' boat ride Shawn Everette has begun to open ears to the answers God is waiting to give. Singing solos at the age of 13 he began writing and producing songs for himself. He attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York graduating with a Audio Engineering degree. He was offered a R&B recording contract with Famous Artist Associates, a management company affiliated with Motown Records. but turned it down realizing the importance of his spiritual background. With that revelation, he vowed to write music that glorified God. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Morgan State University he worked with various artists as an engineer at Elysium Records studio, performed at Maryland’s biggest event, the AFRAM Expo, sharing the same stage as Commissioned, Kirk Franklin, and John P. Kee. He has produced music for BGE, James Tart, Living Waters Ministries Worship team ( The Releasing of Many Waters), his own album (Shawn Everette Answers and Changing Me).
