The Billo's Caracas Boys orchestra was born on August 31, 1940. After the dissolution of the Billo's Happy Boys, Billo Frómeta organizes his orchestra and debuts at the Roof Garden. That day begins the longest and most complete career that any orchestra has developed in Venezuela and in other parts of the world.
With a wide repertoire of more than 2000 songs of latin music which includes BOLERO, GUARACHA, MERENGUE, PASODOBLE, CUMBIA, PORRO, ETC. The orchestra form by eighteen musicians has become part of the culture from Venezuela and Colombia and a Important reference around the globe.
As a important institution with almost eight decades artists as Felipe Pirela, Jose Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", Manolo Monterrey, Ely Mendez, and others, has started their careers in the Band. After "El Maestro" Billo died his one of his sons Luis Rafael Frometa run the band for almost 30 years and actually is run by Adrián Frómeta his grandson who continues with the legacy....more
