anteloper was realised when drummer-turned-singer Stuart Grey found himself in need of a bed and guitarist (and former band mate) Ped Teale offered him his spare. Late night song writing ensued, joined by fellow house dweller Shantha Roberts on organ & synth (and a dog and a cat).
Bass player Charlie “long” Higgs (of Jessica's Brother) was enticed through the door having heard rumours of this productive happening gathering pace, and he seduced dummer Jonny Helm (also of Jessica's Brother and The Wave Pictures) with the oddly anteloper-shaped rhythms that were forming, completing the family.
