The music exposure in the family has always been high. My mother played the piano in the living room every day of the week since kindergarten. Growing up with my room wall to wall to My brother's room, he woke me up every Saturday through his drumming on his brand new drum kit in the early morning. One day when I was about 8 years old I carried his bass drum out in the garage and found an axe, I wanted to play louder than him and the heaviest thing I could think of using instead of a drumstick at that age was an axe. Not quite sure if he has forgiven me entirely for the questionable act.
Playing the guitar and drums are what I love most. I've been playing guitar since I was 8, and my favourite guitar is my Schecter Synyster Gates Custom. After learning heel-toe technique on drums and sweep picking on guitar, it was hard to stop playing...more
